Hornstein Law offices is a small local legal business specializing in Living Trust, Will, Powers of Attorney, and all other necessary estate planning documents. They aim to make estate planning easy and affordable.
The office staff or their customers would fill out a questionnaire in excel sheet to build their Estate and Trust Planning Documents.
Client was beginning to lose business to Legal Zoom because they were offering DIY(Do-It-Yourself) solutions. The client wanted to make the process of collecting information from their clients more easier and remain competitive to Legal Zoom, in which they also wanted to build a DIY “(“Do-It-Yourself “) software to cater to more clients.
The software that was built included an easy online questionnaire that goes step by step for Trust and Estate Planning customers. The customer users will also be able to preview the information to make sure it is correct before submitting it to the lawyer to finalize the Trust and Estate Planning Documents.
The Challenge
The main challenge client was experiencing as a local lawyer was that he was losing business to Legal Zoom. With advancing internet technology and Legal Zoom’s services, many Trust and Estate Planning customers started to prefer being more hands on and Do It Yourself.
Strategy and Solution
The solution that Ontrix provided was an online user-friendly, do-it-yourself, questionnaire process to make Trust and Estate Planning easier. The users were able to preview what information was needed and filled it out in their own time. The lawyer and his staff were able to preview the data submitted with an admin and follow up with their customers.
The Trust and Estate Planning questionnaire helped the lawyer stay competitive and gain more business locally. Application is regularly updated and maintained to remain competitive with the advancing online technology and legal trends.
